I was thinking that the Working Sponges mod should be adapted for smp and added into herocraft. That way you can build houses deep underwater withough as much risk of drowning.

I spoke with Afrodave briefly on IRC. He advised I suggest this to Kainzo; and this seems to be the most appropriate means of doing so.
This is an RPG mod that looks very interesting. Afro said there used to be something similar to this on the server but it ended up breaking.
