My entire RIFT guild will be picking up GW2 it looks like. Not a jump ship from RIFT but to check it out and with our RIFT ranking weve been getting alot of beta invites
what realm you on fantastica in Rift? i have been fucking around a bit recently.
I also started playing rift a few days ago, liking it so far think ill stick it out and see what end game is like.
Taking part in SWTOR Beta this weekend... anyone else? If not ill fill yall in later.

I haven't been playing much of anything until just recently and I've felt the lack...I turned on my son's WoW account (he has mine now) and made a toon on a pvp realm to do some bg's cause I miss killing ppl. I'm pretty curious about SWTOR as well - waiting to hear what you guys think about it.
I took part in a bit of the BETA.... it has its choppy moments.. but it was a lot of fun at least for the first 10-12 levels or so... i didnt get much further then that. Im certainly gonna check it out though.
In all my years playing MMOs i dont think ive read any quest text.... this game kinda forces you to because of the massive amounts of voice acting... and it was very satisfying. only did one dungeon and was with a bunch of morons so... it wasnt all that great.. but i see potential.

To be honest - It just couldnt hold my attention - I'm not sure why. It's a very well done game - just seems like rift/wow to me.
I agree Kain. the overall game play was completely wow/rift cloneage. Combat was similar (with slightly better animation). The graphics are average.... disappointing compared to some of the other games out.... As far as raiding/endgame progression ... i dont have high hopes.. and i think they have some kinks to work out but i like the overall idea of the game, and am mildly intrigued.
Tried out SWTOR beta as well and quit after level 2 the voice acting just to get quests was pretty annoying to me. I hate playing with the sound on and having to sit there and go through the little videos bored me after the second quest so I turned it off and logged back into rift ha.
