I. Mission Statement/ Raid Days
Disposable Heroes is a small, focused veteran gaming clan. We are hell bent on dominating any game we play, be it Counter Strike or Hello Kitty Online - Mystery Island Express.
II. Core Principles
Membership in Disposable Heroes is a PRIVILEGE. It is not a Right. Failure to abide by ANY of our core principles may result in loss of this privilege.
Performance – We require your best performance. Sub-par performance is considered a blatant lack of respect to the other members and will not be tolerated.
Respect - Respect for leaders (authority), other guild members and other players on the server is a must. Showing respect to other players builds upon the guild/clan image, which in turn attracts quality players.
Reliability – We expect our members to maintain a high attendance. We understand real life issues may occur, and expect members to post on the attendance forum when something comes up.
Teamwork – Learning new thing is often difficult and challenging. The learning process can be filled with frustrating deaths and time sinks. Patience and teamwork is extremely important when dealing with this. Offer constructive suggestions to your team if you feel something may work better. Think before you act, then act like an adult.
III. Attitude Statement
Disposable Heroes is about teamwork, progression, respect and friendship. Disposable Heroes is an adult guild. As such, adult language may be used from time to time as well as adult humor. We ask that you be aware of the differences between humor and malicious behavior.
Disposable Heroes members are expected to know their class and have the attitude and willingness to improve and progress. We are not here to criticize, however we encourage players to improve their game. Improving yourself will inevitably result in more fun in the game and progress for the guild.
If a problem cannot be resolved please bring it to the attention of the appropriate Officers as soon as possible.
The Leader and Officers have the final word in any dispute between members.
A very strict policy is in place for violations of this attitude statement. This policy is one warning and then removal upon a second offense. All removals are handled by the Leader to be sure that the removal is warranted.
IV. Guild Organization
Leader
Officers
Members
Recruits
V. Recruitment
Our primary focus is to recruit mature, skilled, team-oriented players with similar goals thus mutually benefiting all involved, by not having conflicting interests.
Officers will announce recruitment opportunities regularly and on our web site. Recruits may apply on our forums using the application template. Successful recruits must adhere to our guild policies and go through an initiation period of at least 2-3 weeks (more or less given the situation) At the end of the recruitment period, officers will meet to decide upon promotion.
At any point, an recruit may be removed from the guild for any of the following reasons; a personality that does not mesh well with the guild members, lack of attendance and availability, poor performance, and/or any single violation of the guild’s policies and/or core principle.
VI. Rules
Raid members are expected to Gem/Enchant all gear for raids. Having gear enchanted and gemmed appropriately with the premium enhancements possible reflects a player determined to progress. If you take gear, make the most of it by using the best enchants and gems. Upon acquiring the gear, members are given 3 days to accessorize their upgrades with gems and enchants. Those players failing to gem/enchant gear will be prevented from looting any further upgrades until they are capable of enchanting their existing gear. Those having difficulty acquiring mats to enchant gear should pass on the gear to an existing member who WILL enchant it immediately. As Disposable Heroes progresses into more challenging content gear must be prepared to maximize performance in order to succeed.
Team setup prioritization (especially for progression) are determined by the Officers and Leader.
Disposable Heroes is about progress and teamwork. Recruits and Family/Friends may be asked to sit out on various fights for a raiding member when it involves raid upgrades. We try to be as fair as possible, but Recruits and Family/Friends need to work with us towards raid progress.
VII. Items / DKP (if applicable)
Only 25 man raids are DKP’d. DH gives out hourly as well as ticks for each boss killed. Please see our DKP forums for more info.
If someone in the raid is AFK for over 5 minutes outside of a called break time, they lose the ability to get the bonus points for being ready the entire night (5 points). Officers may also be forced to wait list that player in order for the raid to proceed. Inform an officer asap if you must AFK, we understand emergencies arise at times.
We will be implementing quarterly audits of DKP (4 times per year). We may also wipe DKP once an instance has become farm status and is no longer a priority for the guild 3 night raids.
VIII. Loot Rules
Loot in all guild sponsored raids will be handled by DKP & Loot Council. In addition to DKP are rules which will aid the growth and progression of the guild. In addition classes with dedicated use for gear are given priority over non-specialized players. This will be announced by the RL at time of bid. In the effort to facilitate progression, certain items will be defaulted to the Main Tank and Off Tanks as required: their survival/performance is critical in most encounters.
A good rule of thumb is if you have a question regarding the loot, ask the officers how it would be best used to further the progression of the guild.
On ANY run, loot can ONLY be received by an Alt or Friend/Family if all Mains pass on the item.
IX. Bank
All droppable items will go to the guild bank. Some of these items will be kept for creating tier items, crafting, consumables, etc. The guild bank is a “liquid” bank and as such, most items will be sold at auction for guild betterment.
Any funds in the guild bank will be used for crafting and consumables for progression.
XI. Attendance
All members will be expected to be online and ready to raid at 10 minutes before the start of each raid for invites. Raid composition will be made at the scheduled time and some members may be asked to sit out for a night off. Members who drop below a 40% raid attendance will not be allowed to get gear over other mains with better attendance. Attendance WILL be tracked and action may be taken upon those showing poor attendance.
The Guild reserves the right to change the contents of the Charter at anytime it is deemed necessary to do so. Agreement between the Officers and Guild Master is sufficient for such changes.
XII. Privileged Information Policy
Guild chat and information on the boards is privileged information. If you abuse this privilege your membership to the Guild as well as your board access will be revoked.
XIII. Disclaimer
All Guild polices are intended to be guidelines. The Officers reserve the right to act outside of these guidelines as the situation warrants. Officers will take swift action to enforce the Charter.
